Social activities are a big part of the picture at our school. We believe activities are an important part of academic and social achievement.   Extra-curricular activities not only give you an opportunity to put your vocabulary into practice but they help you to make life long friendships with people  from all around the world.

A social director plans a new list of activities every month with input from the students. You can explore the attractions and night life of a new city with your new friends. 

Things to do in Toronto:

• Visit Karaoke clubs in China Town and Korea Town
• Explore Salsa and Merengue at Latin American dance bars
• Eat Italian ice cream in Little Italy
• Visit sports bars, dance clubs and pool halls
• Go to the movies on Tuesday nights:  It's just $ 2.50
• Go to a baseball, basketball or Hockey game at the famous Skydome and Air Canada Centre
• Visit Canada's Wonderland, one of the many museums and art galleries
• Do some shopping in some of the largest shopping malls in the world!

In the summer:

• Visit one of the many beautiful lakes Ontario offers . 
• Go on a wilderness canoe trip to Algonquin Park with an experienced guide and see moose and beaver in their natural habitat. 
• Go hiking along the Bruce Trail and discover the old lake shore of millions of years ago. 
• Spend a weekend on the sandy shores of beautiful Lake Huron with water so clear you can still see the bottom at 10m. 
• Tour the 1000 Islands where the rich have been building cottages for the past 150 years. 
• Visit one of the many craft shows or folk festivals that are held all over Ontario every summer and experience some regional flavour.
• Take a wine tour or pick fruit in the beautiful Niagara Peninsula 
• Visit the scenic Niagara-on-the-Lake and enjoy live theatre at the Shaw Festival

In the winter: 

• Do both alpine and cross-country skiing from November to April.
• Go skating at the beautifully lit City Hall Outdoor arena
