Jigsaw Academy Co Founder Gaurav Vohra to Speak at the BW|Businessworld Big Data and Analytics Summit 2014

Businessworld is organizing a Big Data and Analytics Summit on 21st March 2014 at Taj Vivanta Bengaluru. Gaurav Vohra, CEO and co founder of Jigsaw Academy is one of the speakers at this event.

The summit is an initiative for Big Data experts to to discuss the opportunities in Big Data, training the right talent for big data companies, some important case studies in the space and a discussion led by investors in the Big data ecosystem.

Literature about the event states that currently India accounts for 2.5 percent of the global Big Data market of $8 billion and is expected to grow $1 billion by 2015. A recent study conducted by EMC among Indian companies revealed that 91 per cent of Indian businesses were aware of the potential benefits of Big Data, but 26 per cent of companies had no current plans to utilize Big Data technology. Indeed there is a huge potential for Big Data in India.

This second successive Big Data Conclave will be a great platform for all Big Data enthusiasts to talk about how India can use Big Data across various industries and sectors to improve business practices across the board. This event is for everyone, big data enthusiasts as well as all business executives who if not already, will soon use analytics and Big Data in their everyday working life.

Gaurav is part of the panel that will discuss the topic ‘Are Indian software services companies gearing up for Big Data projects, what are global clients demanding?’
